Special times with your baby

When alone with your baby, this is the time to focus on her.

Don’t try to get some work done.

Check out her face and think of her growing up (her first day at school, first sleepover; her first boyfriend! and her wedding!).

Show him things in the garden or garage (babies are totally curious).

Talk to her about anything and everything; take her for a walk, etc.

The more you focus, the more she will respond.

You are doing a lot more than babysitting; you are developing a life-long love affair.

when we refer to "him" or "her" we do that for ease of writing!
So you should introduce your son or  daughter to the garage and sports  and everything equally. At such a young age the baby is responding to the touch and stimulation of everything it sees and hears.

Don't genderise your baby you may not know your way around the kitchen / house but your baby should be introduced to everything. (safely!)

Babies love watching football (or any sport) on Tv with Dad

Fully verified by extensive watching of football on TV ,(also F1, Snooker, Rugby, golf.etc)  with our children with their Dad from only days old to now years old! The contrasting colours on the tv present a very important development exercise for babies.

Watching with Dad (or even grandad) enhances the experience due to the deep bonding from sharing the peak emotional highs and obviously lows of goals or blind referees to amazing car crashes!

The above piece of information can be used as a great excuse by either parent: we'll even help you out on somemore excuses:

Mothers are also entitled to watch sports on tv or other tv programs whilst they are feeding or minding the baby too!

In our house we have found it essential to have 2 tv's , even if you have to have a tv in the bedroom with or without skysports , many tired mum's would be only too happy to let their partners look after the baby at night!
