Medicine Cupboard
Every house should have a “Medicine Chest”
or"Medicine Cupboard" and with a baby or small child there are a few
basic medicines that no home should be without.
But besure that:
- All medicines should be kept in a lockable place out of the reach of those tiny hands!
- All instructions should be strictly adhered to and not used beyond their ‘use by’ date.
The Essentials should include the following:
- Infant paracetamol - liquid or suppository form
(brings down temperatures and as a general pain reliever).
- Medicine spoon, dropper or syringe
- A first aid kit (assorted plasters and antiseptic cream, disinfectant and cotton wool)
- Thermometer
- Decongestant / inhalants for snuffly noses
- nappy rash cream
- Teething gel
